I have finally found a good spot in my busy calendar to teach the Chipboard Calendar Class that so many of you have requested.
My new creative friend Leah Fung, whom I met through the Scrap-a-Faire online vendor show this past Fall, is the genius behind this project. Leah is also one of the Contributing Editors of Scrapbooks, Etc., so if you feel as if you know the name or recognize her face on her blog, the magazine is probably where you have seen her :)
Leah has very generously given me permission to offer this class to my customers!! As you may have already suspected, Leah is as nice as she is talented!! It was great to get to know her a little bit during the Fall SAF and I am looking forward to getting to hang out and chat with Leah during the upcoming Spring Scrap-a-Faire event!! Btw, Leah also has an awesome Rolodex Project in her Etsy Shop, I hope you check it out. I told Leah that the project should be called the LEAH-O-DEX!!

In case you are wondering....The picture featured on my January is of my daughter and son jamming on a drum set that was a gift from my Mom & Dad to my daughter when she was 2 yrs old. After years in the closet, I decided to break the drum set out one day and let the kids JAM!! They had a BLAST and I was happy because they made beautiful music with PAINT BRUSHES!! You need to do what you need to do to survive!! I know if my Dad was still alive he really would have gotten a kick out of watching them...I am sure he was watching that day with a big smile in his heart. It was just one of those great memories that last forever!!
