My Panama Canal Cruise Demonstration

I could hardly believe it when Stampin' Up! contacted me back in November to ask me to be one of the Demonstrator Presenters on the Stampin' Up! Panama Canal Cruise!! I was shocked and of course so EXCITED!! What an honor!!

Well, last week was the cruise and it was a BLAST!! I really had a great time demonstrating and all the positive feedback made me feel wonderful!! Here is a picture of my display board that was set-up in the SU! Hospitality Room.  

I demonstrated the "Stamp-A-Ma-Jig" and "Doodling". I was so happy to see so mant attend my demonstrations!!

I will be featuring a few of my projects in upcoming posts so you can get a better look at some of what was on display.

Back from the Stampin' Up! Cruise!!

We have just returned from the Stampin' Up! Panama Canal Cruise and it was AWESOME!! I couldn't wait to post this picture from the cruise!! How FUN is this giant wheel!! 

Both Brielle and I made some really great new friends. I am so excited to have connected with several crew members on the Holland America Zuiderdam ship. Alex, Kerry and Goldie!! Big hello from NJ to the three of you and I am so looking forward growing our stamping friendship!! 

I have so much to share with you from the cruise!! More posts to come after I get settled back in.

Leaving the country...

I am really leaving the country!!

In just 9 days, my daughter and I will be enjoying the all expenses paid SU! Cruise to the Panama Canal, with stops in Aruba, Bahamas, and of, course the Panama Canal!!

It is so much fun to exchange swap samples and I always come home with AMAZING IDEAS!! It is totally worth all the time and effort that goes into preparing my swaps.

Stamp From The Heart

Good Morning!!

I wanted to share with you some of the work I have been doing with one of the "Team in Training" groups for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. These Women train as a team for marathon's and half marathon's which are held across the country. They have their feet on the street raising money to help find a cure. The training is difficult, the marathon's are tough, but the Fund Raising is even more challenging!!

I have "teamed" up with the group's mentor Arlene Frank to help Arlene and her team of Women, meet their Fund Raising goals. Our first event was held this past Sunday at the Millburn Library in Millburn, NJ. Thank You goes out to the library for so generously donating the space.

All attendees have a great time and everyone truly Stamped From Their Hearts" at the Stamp Camp!! Many attendees were being introduced to stamping for the very first time and were just so excited at how much fun the day was!!With the help of Arlene and her Team in Training volunteers each guest was instructed, step by step on how to create 5 fabulous hand stamped projects. Lot of yummy snacks, tons of Door Prizes and new friendships made for a all around wonderful day.

Attendees placed orders, booked workshops and best of all wanted to know "when is the next stamp camp"??!! Since so many guests need to look throuhg the catalogs to get their order together, I don't have a total amount raised yet, but I will post as soon as I know.

It absolutely feels so amazing to be able to help others through sharing my passion for stamping and scrapbooking!! We are already planning the next event in June!! Can't wait!! As soon as the date is confirmed, I will let you know :)

Thanks to Doris for taking the picture for me to scrapbook!! As you can see I am enjoying the day showing off one of my Bitty Book Scrapbooks of my family as I demonstrate to the guests!!

Found it!!

   I was so sad when I thought that I had lost my special name tag that Vickey had designed for me to wear at UStamp 11&12 ths past Saturday. I did find it tonight and now I am happy happy happy!! Vickey has become such a wonderful and generous friend and I know that *my* tag was made with a little extra love so I am very happy I found it!!

UStamp 11&12 was absolutely fabulous!!

So much time and energy goes into this event and it would be IMPOSSIBLE to prepare 25 projects, the book, goody bags, door prizes, organize the food etc without the help of many helping hands.
