Wish...

Wishes, Pink Passion and Pixie Pink with just a sprinkle of Dazzlin' Diamonds...the things *WISHES* are made of, wouldn't you agree??!!

Speaking of wishes I was *wishin* that I would be able to let you click on links in my posts and bring you right to the place in the Stampin' Up! Catalogs so that you could *SEE* what I was talking about. Well...whadda ya know...I was able to figure it out, lickety split so...we are good to go!! All posts from now on will have links for you to see the products in the catty's!! It *REALLY* is the little things that make me most happy!! 

I am *tickeled pink* (so sorry..had to do it!!) with the way this card turned out. Bestest part is that it's way easy to make by using one of my *fav* new stamp sets THINK BIG from the Holiday Mini catalog. One of my *very favoritest* background stamps is DOTTED . I have been using this stamp soooo much since the catalog came out in July!! BIG Color....Pretty....Intense....Girly Girl...Bold Bright colors... Pink Passion & Pixie  Pink ....WISH makers for sure!! Seems almost silly to create a *Wish* card without Dazzlin' Diamonds and ya *KNOW* I would probably almost maybe never be silly, right?? I am a *touch* Dazzlin' Diamonds on alota my projects kinda girl!! My DD is a *whole big buncha* Dazzlin' Diamonds on ALL her projects, including on her HEAD, kinda girl!!

Created the double layered punch out window using the 1 3/8 and 1 1/4 inch circle punches The finshing touch was to add Crystle Effects to magnify *WISH*

What makes this card so fun is that when you open it up it says Wish as you see it here and than the word *BIG* in Ginormus letters!! And there you have it... *The PERFECT Wish*   

Not even close!!

Well... I *KNEW* the day would come. Didn't know when it would come, but I *KNEW* it would come and when it finally happened...let's just say it was no surprise. As a matter of fact, I am shocked that it didn't happen sooner!!

There are situations in life that, when they occur, you can sorta *work around it*, it's *close enough* so it no big deal or perhaps, just maybe.... no one will even *notice*.

I am tellin' you with every thread of my being that in *THIS* case *EVERYONE NOTICED*!! Yep!! The whispers, weird looks and the laughter were a dead ringer that I was NOT EVEN CLOSE on this one!! Sometimes you just hafta laugh at yourself...gotta do it!!

• THIS my friends would be a picture of my feet....this my good friends, is how I WENT OUT IN PUBLIC WITH MY DAUGHTER shopping.
• This my dear friends was what I was wearing, when, after about 1 hour of shopping, I dropped something on the floor of the store, only to burst into laughter at what I saw on the floor!! 
• I will tell you that my 7 yr old daughter and I laughed so hard - the kinda belly laughin' that hurts your back and cramps your cheeks - that we thought for sure we would pee our pants!! Great!! The crazy lady with the miss matched shoes pees all over the store floor...good thing THAT didn't happen!!
• My daughter's words to me were 'Mom, I'll NEVER forget this shopping trip, it was so crazy & fun all in one'!!  I certainly agree!!
• BTW the way...when I came home and showed my husband my fancy feet, he was NOT THE LEAST BIT SURPRISED...not really sure what that says!!

Seven!!!

My DD turns 7 today!! I have absolutely NO IDEA how that happened!! Anywhoo...She was just so excited about her birthday that she woke up at 4:30 this morning!! Needless to say after a big birthday kiss, it was straight back to bed for the birthday girl!!

My DD LOVES all kinds of animals, bugs, reptiles etc. *Her* feeling is if It eats, pees and poops she LOVES it. I on the other hand am not so happy about snakes, spiders, crickets...ok I'll stop the list here and be totally honest.... *my* feeling is that if it eats, pees or poops IT STAYS OUTSIDE!! I got enough of that stuff goin' in the house already!! We do have fish...but my very good friend Deirdre is always quick to point out that fish are *barely* pets...and THAT would be my point!!

OK....so this adorable gummy worm card was stamped by another SU! Demonstrator and I just love it!! Gonna make one for my DD today and will of course stamp the #7 somewhere. I will post it when it's done :)  This would be so cute for a boy too...just change the pink worms to purple.

How can it be that it is 5 years since the attacks on the USA??

How can it be that those that are responsible have still not been captured?? 

I pray for those that have been lost.

I pray for those familes that were left behind.

I pray for those who fight for our FREEDOM everyday.

I pray for the USA.
